My academic journey has centered on the dynamic intersection where technology meets management and policy frameworks. I’ve consistently sought to understand and shape how technological advancements can be effectively integrated and governed.
My research interests converge on the strategic application and societal implications of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence and digital transformation. I’m especially interested in developing sustainable business models for AI and big data ventures, analyzing the disruptive and adaptive impacts of digital transformation on established industries, exploring effective pathways for technology commercialization, focusing on AI innovations, conducting future studies to anticipate the trajectory of AI applications, for instance, in smart city contexts, establishing robust ethical and governance frameworks for AI deployment and managing associated risks, and finally, examining successful science and technology policies, especially those fostering AI-driven innovation ecosystems.
Professionally, my time at the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) provided significant hands-on experience. I held a key position within the digital transformation working group and led the e-services CRM team. A major focus was enhancing electronic service delivery, specifically leveraging AI techniques to improve customer relationship management. This role involved navigating complex real-world challenges in technology implementation, change management, and fostering innovation within a large organization.
My motivation stems from a desire to deepen my analytical capabilities and contribute to developing practical, evidence-based frameworks. I aim to help organizations, especially within our national context in Iran, harness technology not just effectively, but also responsibly and ethically. I believe rigorous research is key to creating these actionable models and strategies.
My research goal is to tackle pressing challenges situated at the nexus of technology, business strategy, and public policy. I aspire to contribute research that not only advances academic understanding but also provides tangible guidance for managing and governing technological change, with a particular emphasis on the transformative potential and complexities of AI and digitalization in Iran.
